The Wave Pass: the member app, the partner merchant app, and their back office.
The context
Wave Network is a Swiss financial advisory firm. Its subscription, the Wave Pass, gives access to a payment card, certified advisors, tax services and a network of partner merchants across Switzerland. On the member side, that access ran on a physical card. It needed an app.
The need
To get the same thing for what they could actually put in. That meant going through the scope point by point, separating what the app needed in order to exist from what could come later, and building the first version on that sort.
What we built
The member app: at a partner, the member has their code scanned, and sees what the subscription has saved them.
The partner merchant app, which records the visit from behind the counter.
The web back office that drives both, on Wave Network’s side.
A scope cut for a first launch, with the rest held back rather than sold as options paid for upfront.
